| The volunteer work program intends to get students involved in a community service experience where they can help while improving their language skills. For this purpose, students receive an informative handbook indicating places where they can do volunteer work in Costa Rica. They are assisted on selecting and contacting the offering institutions. The
IFSA-Butler Voluntarism Program – jointly with the Universidad
Nacional and the Universidad de Costa Rica - grants students a participation
certificate to those students who have done volunteer work and complied
with the programs regulations. |
